Pam Allyn
Executive Director and Founder Pam Allyn is the Executive Director of LitWorld. She is also the Executive Director of LitLife, a nationwide education professional development consultancy. Pam is the recipient of the James Patterson Page Turner Award for excellence in bringing literacy to underserved populations through her foster care initiative, Books for Boys. She has received a Disney Points of Light Foundation Award for her work bringing books and literacy to children. Pam has written seven books for teachers and administrative leaders including the groundbreaking curriculum development guide entitled "The Complete 4 for Literacy" (Scholastic 2007) and one for parents, caregivers and educators entitled "What to Read When" (Penguin 2009). |

Jen Estrada
Special Projects Team Leader Jen Estrada manages special projects and programs at LitWorld and is a member of the Junior Board. She is currently leading pilot work on Girls Clubs and The Resilience Project. Jen is also the Writing Projects Team Leader for LitLife. Jen received her B.A. in Psychology at Amherst College and graduated in 2008. She now lives in Brooklyn, NY. |

Annie Foley
Research and Implementation Manager Annie Foley is a kindergarten teacher in Amherst, Massachusetts. She is coordinating LitWorld efforts on the ground, using best practice methods to inspire and coach teachers across the world. |

Dorothy Lee
Director of Communications Dorothy Lee joined the LitWorld team in 2009 to help increase communication capabilities through new media development, focusing in the areas of web, video and graphic design exploration and outreach. She first worked with Pam Allyn in her Books for Boys program during the summer of 2004 while she was a student at Amherst College. Dorothy grew up working behind the scenes with her parents at their Mettawee River Theatre Company in New York City and upstate New York, and she maintains an eclectic array of skills and interests. She is very excited to be working with LitWorld and LitLife on their inspiring endeavors. |

Cheri Mosley
Executive Assistant Cheri Mosley joined the team in 2010 to share her extensive office administration experience in support of the LitLife and LitWorld missions. She is based in Florida. |

Ruby Veridiano
Girls Clubs Team Leader Ruby is a writer, speaker, and media personality aiming to create empowering spaces for young women in popular culture. Her previous work as a spoken word performer has led to her development as a speaker and teaching artist, advocating the use of art for social change and dialogue in high school and University classrooms. She often works with all-women's spaces and is passionate about inspiring young girls to reach their potential. She has worked with organizations such as Youthspeaks, Urban Word, 826 Valencia, and We Got Issues! Her first book, Miss Universe, showcases poetry telling her story as a young Filipina immigrant growing up in America. |

Rachel Weitner
Outreach Coordinator Rachel feels passionate about Litworld's mission and is very excited to be joining the LitWorld team and assisting with Book Campaigns, donor management, and other special projects. Rachel moved from Australia to New York City where she studied drama at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. Rachel is looking forward to using her background in film and theatre production to further LitWorld's work. She currently lives with her family in Westchester, NY. |
